Kenneth Taylor

Kenneth (Kenny) Gordon Taylor age 66 of Centralia, IL, died on April 13, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. Kenny was born on July 21,1957 in Centralia, IL. 

He is survived by his father, Jesse Taylor of Carlyle, IL., his children Aimee Beth Jordon, and Victor Jon Paul Taylor both from Marion, IL; special friend, Kathy Heinrichsmeyer of Centralia, IL; grandchildren Zoey Taylor, Addison Woods, and Bently Taylor of Marion, IL; siblings Victor Taylor (special friend Julia), Carlyle, Cindy (Bert) Behnke, Frankfort, IL, Mark (Jackie) Taylor, Benton, IL, Terri (Bob) Newkirk, Carlyle, IL and Lydia Horton, Florence, AL. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends who loved him dearly, along with very special relationships with Misty Stoffel, Lindsay Brandt and Logan Wright from Centralia, IL.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Shaw and both paternal and maternal grandparents.

Kenny worked at the City of Carlyle and Texaco Oil Company and was co-owner of Triple T Refuse Company, Triple T Tire Shredding and Clean Cut Contracting prior to retirement.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles and being in the company of family and friends. Kenny was generous with his time and eager to help.  He was a great storyteller and enjoyed life to the fullest. 

A funeral service will be at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Zieren Funeral Home in Carlyle, IL with visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
