Agnes Thomas Obituary

Agnes L. Thomas, age 100 of Carlyle and formerly of Keyesport, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Carlyle Healthcare Center.

Mrs. Thomas was born on December 4, 1918, in East St. Louis, a daughter of Leo and Fern (nee Higgenbotham) Simpson. She married Roy A. Thomas in June of 1942, in Wright City, Missouri and he preceded her in death on November 12, 2003.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her three sons – James Thomas of Carlyle, John Thomas of Keyesport, and Tom Thomas of Keyesport; a granddaughter – Lauren Pilgreen and husband Brian; and a great granddaughter – Emerson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas will be private. Memorial donations in her memory are suggested to Shriners Hospitals for Children and will be received through Zieren Funeral Home.
