Brayden Matthew Voss

Brayden Matthew Voss, age 13 of Bartelso, passed away at his home on Monday, July 30, 2018.

Brayden was born on October 7, 2004, in Breese, Illinois, a son of Matthew and Holle (Hollenkamp) Voss. He was to begin the 8th grade at All Saints Academy, and he loved playing basketball and soccer. Brayden was a member of St. Mary’s Church where he was a Mass server. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, playing video games, and listening and playing music.

Brayden is survived by his parents – Matthew and Holle Voss and a brother – Tyler Voss, all of Bartelso; his grandparents – Leonard and Elizabeth Voss of Beaver Prairie, Karen Hollenkamp of Carlyle, and John and Deb Hollenkamp of Centralia; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 3, 2018, at St. Mary’s Church in Carlyle with Fr. George Mauck, celebrant. Visitation will be held at Zieren Funeral Home in Carlyle on Thursday, August 2, from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and at St. Mary’s Church on Friday from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Brayden are suggested to All Saints Academy, Mater Dei High School, or to the Santa Fe (Bartelso) Fire Department and will be received at Zieren Funeral Home.
