Bryan Buck Obituary

Bryan L. Buck, age 55 of Carlyle, passed away at Memorial Hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois on Friday, September 27, 2019.

 

Mr. Buck was born in Belleville on January 1, 1964, a son of James C. Buck and Sue (Bailey) Boyer.  He married Stephanie Schniers on October 15, 1993, in Breese and she survives in Carlyle.

 

In addition to his wife Stephanie, Bryan is survived by his daughter – Heather Buck of Keyesport; a granddaughter – Abby Chamberlin; 2 brothers – Scott Callahan of Ormond Beach, Florida and Todd Buck (Ginger) of St. Louis; his in-laws – Tanna Hart (Joe) of Radom, Robin Bryan (David) of Breese, and Stacy Kniser (Kenny) of Centralia; and many nieces and nephews. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother – James C. Buck. 

 

Mr. Buck worked as a chef for Sodexo at Scott Air Force Base.  He enjoyed cooking and loved sports, especially his favorite teams, the Miami Dolphins and the New York Yankees.  More than anything, Bryan loved his wife, daughter, and granddaughter.   

 

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at Zieren Funeral Home in Carlyle with Rev. Todd Buck, officiating.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 until service time on Thursday at Zieren Funeral Home.  In lieu of other gifts, memorials are suggested to his family’s wishes and will be received through Zieren Funeral Home.
