Renee Celeste Hlina, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at Cedarhurst Senior Living in Shiloh, Illinois.
Mrs. Hlina was born on November 5, 1954, a daughter of Conrad and Josephine Deerhake. She was co-founder of Moulds International and helped design and bring countless items to market. Their most notable product was the Waterbaby dolls, the number one selling doll in America in 1991. She travelled the world, from all over Europe to China, to most of the states in the union. She was most happy cooking in her kitchen, working in her yard, or spoiling her dogs, Monk and Dalai. She was always kind, helpful, smart, hardworking, and beautiful. She will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Hlina is survived by her husband – Howard Hlina; her son - Nick Holtgrave; her mother – Josephine Deerhake; and her siblings - Fettie, Larry, Doug and Rachelle.
She was proceeded in death by her first husband – Walter Holtgrave; her father – Conrad Deerhake; and a bother - Kevin Deerhake.
In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held.
