Arthur Peters Obituary

Arthur Gerald Peters, Jr. age 75 of Carlyle, died on Monday, February 7, 2022, in Carlyle.

Mr. Peters was born in St. Louis on February 26, 1946, a son of Arthur and Ruby (Moore) Peters. He worked in the cleaning business and was an avid baseball fan. Gerald was always rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals. He always provided for his family and made sure they had what they needed.

Mr. Peters is survived by his sons – Arthur Patrick Caffey, Jr. and Undrey Maurice Caffey; his grandchildren – Artquetta Caffey, Arthur Patrick Caffey, III, Catherine JoAnn Caffey, and Artez J. Caffey; his great grandchildren – Mikyzie Crumble, Violet Caffey, Michael Crumble, and Arthur Patrick Caffey, IV; and his siblings – Mae Peters, Jean Peters, Eunice Houston, and Avis Peters.

He was preceded in death by his parents – Arthur and Ruby Peters; 2 brothers – William Peters and James Peters; a sister – Joyce Peters; and the mother of his children – JoAnn Caffey.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
