James Vincent, Jr.

James “Sonny” Vincent, Jr. age 63 of Carlyle, passed away at his home on Friday, June 24, 2022.

Mr. Vincent was born on November 25, 1958, a son of James Vincent, Sr. and Frances J. (Truckey) Vincent.  Sonny was a hardworking and dedicated employee at Gateway FS, Inc.  He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.  Sonny was an easygoing man who loved the outdoors, loved his family and loved sharing a laugh or a joke with his fishing buddies.

Mr. Vincent is survived by his children – James Caskey, Amanda Caskey, and Ashley Caskey; his grandchildren – Jazzlyn Caskey, James Caskey, Paige Caskey, Payton Caskey, Jamorris Wright, and Jaydeon Wright; a brother – Ronnie Vincent; a sister – Linda Brandenburg; his nieces – April Weidman and Sherry Weidman; and a nephew – Johnny Brandenburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister – Sandy Ellet.

A graveside service at High Point Cemetery in Montgomery, Missouri will be held at a later date.
