Millie Conner

Millie Conner, age 92, died on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.

Mrs. Conner was born in Nashville, Illinois on April 7, 1928, a daughter of the late August and Ella (Lunte) Rothemeyer.  She married James D. Conner on December 8, 1951, and he preceded her in death on April 22, 1996.

Millie is survived by her three children - Mike, Patti, and Amy, a daughter-in-law, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two siblings. 

Mrs. Conner retired from AT&T in 1990, then worked for St. Mary’s Hospital Centralia.   She then worked at Wal-Mart until 2019.  Millie was a social woman who loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family and watching her grandkids and great grandkids grow.  She loved being able to cook, clean, and take care of her family.  Millie was not one to sit down for too long, as she always had to be doing something with her time.  Her family will always remember her warm smile, her loving embrace, and her overall playful and joyful personality. 

No funeral services will be held.
